Yes that’s right people, we had a better transport system back then.
Right. A “better transport system back then”. Based on what, a map? Here is a map of the current bus network. Every route in the 30s is covered by the current infrastructure and more. Plus our current transport system has 11200+ timetabled bus services and 1000+ train services every weekday. Not to mention the school busses, ferries and free CAT services. They also serviced over 130 million passengers last year. I’d like to see your 30s tram network do that.
